A Qur’an memorization companion that keeps your ḥifẓ record on your phone.
Mark what you have memorized from the muṣḥaf, and say how firmly you hold it. Mathani remembers what you revised and when, works out how fresh each portion is, and builds each day’s list from your own goals: new ḥifẓ, murājaʿah qarībah for what you learned recently, and murājaʿah baʿīdah for everything else, least fresh first.
The muṣḥaf is inside the app, page for page, so you can revise with the text hidden, reveal it word by word, and pin the exact word you slipped on. Recitation plays āyah by āyah from the reciter you choose. If a day is missed, it is repeated rather than piled on top of the next one.
Nothing in the app tells you how much to memorize. That is your decision, or your teacher’s.
Mathani asks for one Google permission, and only when you connect Google Drive for backup. It is the drive.file scope, which reaches only the files Mathani itself created. It cannot see, list or open any other file in your Drive.
Mathani uses that permission to write your backup file, to list and tidy the backups it has already written, and to read one back when you ask to restore. It does nothing else with it.
Mathani’s use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Your backup goes straight from your phone to your Drive and is never passed to anyone else. It is never used for advertising, never sold, never used to build a profile of you and never read by a person. The token that keeps the connection working is stored in secure storage on your phone.
